Who Thinks Elton John was at his best when collaborating with Bernie Taupin ?

That's a no brainer. Most of the lyrics Elton's Greatest hits were written by Bernie Taupin. Did you know that many of Elton's clic hits were written without the two men even being in the same room? Bernie would often write lyrics in under an hour and then give them to Elton, who would work on the songs alone and he would hammer out the tunes in about 30 minutes. If he couldn't come up with a song right away, he would toss the lyrics. That's why The doentary film about the song writing duo is called, Two Rooms.
