Definitely THEE clic. Considered by many the single greatest hip-hop album ever created. Any album that can outshine Ready to Die in what was the year of the twin tower hip hop albums must be mentioned as one of the best ever. Unfortunately Nas never has and probably never will achieve quite the same level as Illmatic, but history has already been written. All we can do is hope that generations to come do not overlook Nas and Illmatic and remember it for the genius it is.
