The Protective Atmosphere mentioned in the Quran? Can you explain this phenomena?

Primitive superstitions that seem occasionally to coincide with reality does not validate the superstition. Even a stopped clock is correct twice a day. It would have been more efficient and intelligent not to chuck rocks and UV at us.
