Is the beef cubes you make for beef stew filet mignon flank or steak sirloin steak??

if you look in the meat counter it will be labeled as "stew meat". It is round steak cut into chunks. But if you have any beef on hand you can cut it yourself into chunks. It doesn't matter what cut of beef you use. It is always the cheap cuts that are made into stew meat in the stores though. I have made my own out of sirloin at home. It's much more tender.
