I just read an article about proposition 8?

It was about Ellen DeGeneres and it said how she was disappointed about gay marriages being banned in California...so does that mean that her marriage was annulled? I don't know why people just don't leave it alone...if murders and rapist's can get married...why can't a same couple that is not harming anyone?
