What's the difference between judo, karate, ju-jitsu and kickboxing?

I would say Karate is best (but I'm a little biased) if you are from the UK look up seiki juku karate, or if you're not then look at kyukoshin, its mainly karate based (kicking, punching, chopping etc) but has elements of other martial arts. Failing that, there are mixed martial arts courses you can take x
