Hp pavilion dv6 laptop typing wrong characters?

i got a little water on my keyboard b/c my hands were wet it wasnt even a spill or anything. now every time i type something either nothing happens the wrong characters appears or multiple characters appear. its not a num lock prob or a lang prob.
